High Level Throwing: Flex Bar Twist Drill #2

Posted by austin-wasserman | 09 February 2018 | Experts & Champions,Technical

ONE Softball is committed to bringing you technical information that is factual and modeled by what the best players actually do. We will periodically bring you short videos that show throwing biomechanics, drills, and tips.

High Level Throwing expert Austin Wasserman shows the second Twist drill. This exercise helps strengthen the hand, wrist and forearm and the musculature that surrounds and protects the elbow joint. It also mimics the movement of how the forearm and shoulder joint should move through ball release. A great pre-work exercise to get those important small muscles that stabilize the wrist and elbow prepped and ready to withstand the forces of throwing.
